Son Doong Cave sits very close to the border of Vietnam and Laos. It can be found on the north-central side of the town of Quang Binh. The Ban Gioc Waterfall

This waterfall consists of two waterfalls. These falls are located on the Quay Son River. This river lies within the Cao Bang Geopark. The Geopark is formally recognized within the UNESCO. Visitors can find this wonderful place on the northeastern side of Vietnam. The waterfalls sit on the boarder of China and Vietnam. They are at least 30 meters high. These waterfalls are truly extraordinary. The best time to see these in full view is during the months of May to October. May to October is the monsoon season in Vietnam. This will be when the river’s will be at their limits.

Con Dao Islands

These indescribable islands create an archipelago of the southeastern side of the city of Phu Quoc. Con Dao is the biggest island out of all of them. This particular island was often used during the Indochina war. A large number of French political prisoners were sent to this island to be killed. Vietnam’s national heroine was killed on this island at the young age of 19 years old. This means her grave is also on this island and is a place worthy of visiting. There is also a museum close by. Mui Ne Sand Dunes

The Cat Tien National Park can only be accessible via bus. It takes three to four hours to get there from the northern side of the city of Saigon. It is a tropical forest that contains a wide range of wonderful wildlife. You may even see all different types of monkeys and types of birds that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world. The park also contains some extremely tall trees that are sure to leave you in awe. In fact, there are even some very old temples that are among the incredible sights to see. When you are on the trails, be aware that you may come across scorpions and dangerous snakes.

Ha Long Bay

Ha Long Bay is also known as “The Bay of Descending Dragons”. It is a very iconic piece of landscape that is one of the very best in the whole of Vietnam. The best way to see this bay is on an overnight cruise. This cruise will take you through its magical waters. You may also be treated to some stunning sunsets and mists that comes from the waters. This makes the area a little mysterious. There are also some stunning limestone foundations that are a must see when you Travel to Vietnam.
